How does the recipe generator work?
Select a country/region, grape variety, amount, and wine style. The app calculates the must volume, expected alcohol, sugar correction, enzyme, sulfur dioxide, tannin, yeast and nutrient dosages, and the full schedule from crushing to bottling.
Why do I need to pay to see the full recipe?
Payment unlocks a personalized PDF protocol with precise dosages calculated for your specific grapes, sugar, and volume. Payments are securely processed by Stripe and support Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card.
What do I get after payment?
After confirmed payment, you enter the measured sugar content and download a formatted PDF with the full technology card. If you also purchased the 12 wine faults guide, you receive that PDF too.
How do I measure grape sugar?
Use a refractometer or hydrometer/densimeter in °Brix, °Oechsle, or °Bé depending on your region. The generator accepts your local scale and recalculates all dosages accordingly.
Can I change the sugar value after payment?
Yes. In the My Recipes section, sign in with the email you used for payment and edit the sugar value. The PDF is regenerated with the new values.
How accurate are the recipes?
Recipes are calculated using standard OIV enological practices and are indicative. Always measure your must density and pH, because actual raw materials and conditions vary.
Do you support imperial units?
Yes. For users in the United States and Canada, the site automatically shows pounds, gallons, and Fahrenheit when the region is detected. You can also change the country manually.
Which languages are available?
The site is available in Bulgarian, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. The language is set automatically by region and browser settings, but can be changed manually.
Can I use the recipe for commercial production?
Recipes are intended for home and hobby use only. For commercial winemaking, consult a licensed enologist and follow local regulations.
Do you have a refund policy?
We provide a digital product generated individually for your order. If you experience a technical issue downloading the PDF, please contact us and we will resolve it.
Is it legal to calculate expected alcohol and make wine at home?
Yes. Providing informational calculations and recipes for home winemaking for personal/family use is not prohibited. The site does not sell alcohol; it only provides educational/technological guidance. You are responsible for complying with local laws, including any volume limits, licensing requirements for sale, and prohibitions on selling.
